Under the leadership of Dr. Edward Lucas, we continue to treat all cases of urgent care patients. Dr. Lucas is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and has been an ED Director/Assistant Director at several medical centers in FL. Our team offers treatment for conditions that would warrant a visit to the ER but are not life-threatening. Our team provides patients with a friendly and calm atmosphere. We treat patients as soon as we are able and ensure that they have the necessary care to treat their condition. While there may be a wait if we are busy that day, patients will not need to wait as long as they might at the hospital. Our team will take the time to listen to the patient’s concerns before diagnosing treatment. We will examine the patient’s current condition and review the patient’s medical history before developing a treatment. Our team will do everything within our power to treat the patient regardless of being a walk-in or pre-scheduled appointment.
We offer treatment for illnesses and injuries that include eye injuries, fractures, strains, sprains, rashes, urinary tract infections, flu symptoms, sore throat and more. While we offer urgent and immediate care for patients, if the condition is life-threatening, we encourage the patient to visit the hospital right away. We also offer physical exams to satisfy school, sports or work requirements. While we do not require appointments to be seen, patients can make appointments ahead of time. We also have access to an X-ray machine and lab on-site, so we do not need to send samples to a separate location and wait several days for the results. Patients can also visit our office for Fraxel Laser Rejuvenation services to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and unwanted skin pigmentations. Whether a patient walks in the door or calls ahead, we will help the patient receive the necessary care to continue healing and live a healthy lifestyle.
Patients will need to fill out forms covering their health history, allergies, current health condition and insurance information. If the patient is scheduling the appointment ahead of time, then he or she can ask to fill them out prior to the appointment. If the patient walks in instead of scheduling an appointment, then we will be happy to go over everything with the patient in detail. While the wait time for patients can vary, we will do everything in our power to treat patients as quickly as possible. We are open seven days a week and can treat patients as well as recommend more long-term care. If the patient needs to continue taking a specific medication following the initial visit, then we will ensure that the patient has everything he or she needs. We can go over more of our services and details on which insurance plans we take during a phone call or when the individual visits our clinic.
